Q: What does the project plan look like?

A: The planned improvements can be viewed via a flyover video or a color exhibit .pdf from the links in the sidebar to the left.

Q: When will the project be complete and how long will the road be closed?

A: The project began in August 2016 and will be constructed in phases per the phasing map in the sidebar to the left. During each phase of work that area will be closed to traffic for the specified time.

Q: How will I receive my mail; will mail delivery be discontinued during the project?

A: Mail delivery will not be affected by this project and we will work each resident/business to ensure proper delivery.

Q: How/where will my trash be picked up?

A: Existing trash services will not be affected by this project because detour routes will be established. We will coordinate with all trash service companies to make any necessary arrangements for potential centralized pick up areas, but all work will be done by the contractor so for residents/businesses it will be normal.

Q: How will emergency personnel (police, fire, other emergency) access our homes and businesses while the road will be closed?

A: Emergency personnel can follow the established detour routes to access your home in the event of an emergency. Please be assured that we are constantly communicating updates to emergency personnel.

Q: What detour route will be used while the road will be closed?

A: The detour route for non-local traffic as well as the local car and pedestrian detour routes for all phases can be found in the sidebar to the left.
